Maureen Murphy is the Gold Star Mother of Medal of Honor recipient Navy SEAL LT Michael P. Murphy. Along with a board member of this foundation Maureen serves on the board for the LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum and Sea Cadet Training Facility.
Maureen is the proud sponsor of the USS MICHAEL MURPHY DDG112, an Arleigh-Burke class destroyer which was christened in 2011 and remains in active duty today with a homeport of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
